Lumens
Here at Kind LED we have a saying: “Lumens are for Humans”
What that refers to is the fact that a Lumen is a unit in the rating of how bright a light is, in relation to the sensitive of the human eye, in certain wavelengths.
As creators of light sources designed for plants specifically, we measure the quality of our lights with measurements such as PPFD and PAR. This helps us measure overall efficiency of the light for the task of growing plants.
