UPS Labels – Outside of NetSuite (USA)
It is necessary to create shipping labels outside of NetSuite if an Item Fulfillment has not been created because it is a SuperCloset order. Canadian orders are also shipped out via UPS.com since NetSuite does not support international orders.
Smaller SuperCloset orders are sent via UPS.com including:
- 2 x 4 SuperRooms
- SuperBoxes
Once a picking ticket has been placed on your desk, begin the process of creating a shipping label(s) for this sales order.
- Use the SO number to pull up the customers order in NetSuite and leave this page open for reference.
- Check the Memo line to determine any special requests.
To create a label using UPS:
- Open a new tab and login to UPS.com.
- Select Create a Shipment.
- The Ship From section will be auto-populated with GSIs address.
- Fill in Ship to including:
- Country or Territory
- Name
- Address
- If sending the parcel to a residential address, select the checkbox titled ” Is this a residential address?”
- Phone
- Fill in Package Information including:
- Weight
- Length
- Width
- Height
- In the textbox titled “Purchase Order No.”, enter the SO number.
- If the product is over $100, select the check box titled Delivery Confirmation and from the drop-down. Select Signature Required.
- If you are shipping more than one package, select Add Another Package.
- Repeat steps 1-6.
- Fill in the Shipping Service including:
- Select the checkbox titled, “View my pickup options.”
- Select the checkbox titled, “Include this shipment in one of my pending pickups.”
- Select the checkbox titled, “No, deliver to receiver.” Unless otherwise specified.
- Select the preferred shipping service.
- Select the checkbox titled, “Bill My Account”.
- Select the checkbox titled, “46X551 – Supercloset”.
- Select Pay and Get Label(s).
- Print the label(s)
- Refer to the sales order in NetSuite
- Select the “Shipping” tab.
- Change the Shipping Carrier to “UPS”.
- Change the Shipping Method to “UPS® Ground”.
- Select the drop-down under “SuperCloset Carrier”.
- Select “UPS – https://www.ups.com/track”.
- Enter the tracking label number(s) assigned to the shipment.
- Select Save.
- Select Email.
- Select the “Message” tab.
- Select the drop-down under “Template”.
- Select “SC Hydro and SuperBo… Order Has Shipped!”
- Select “Merge & Send”
- Clip the label(s) to the SO.
- Place the completed shipping documents in the warehouse’s shipping inbox for processing.
