UPS Labels – Outside of NetSuite (USA)

It is necessary to create shipping labels outside of NetSuite if an Item Fulfillment has not been created because it is a SuperCloset order. Canadian orders are also shipped out via UPS.com since NetSuite does not support international orders.

Smaller SuperCloset orders are sent via UPS.com including:

  • 2 x 4 SuperRooms
  • SuperBoxes

Once a picking ticket has been placed on your desk, begin the process of creating a shipping label(s) for this sales order.

  1. Use the SO number to pull up the customers order in NetSuite and leave this page open for reference.
  2. Check the Memo line to determine any special requests.

To create a label using UPS:

  1. Open a new tab and login to UPS.com.
  2. Select Create a Shipment.
  3. The Ship From section will be auto-populated with GSIs address.
  4. Fill in Ship to including:
    1. Country or Territory
    2. Name
    3. Address
    4. If sending the parcel to a residential address, select the checkbox titled ” Is this a residential address?”
    5. Phone
  5. Fill in Package Information including:
    1. Weight
    2. Length
    3. Width
    4. Height
    5. In the textbox titled “Purchase Order No.”, enter the SO number.
    6. If the product is over $100, select the check box titled Delivery Confirmation and from the drop-down. Select Signature Required.
    7. If you are shipping more than one package, select Add Another Package.
      1. Repeat steps 1-6.
  6. Fill in the Shipping Service including:
    1. Select the checkbox titled, “View my pickup options.”
    2. Select the checkbox titled, “Include this shipment in one of my pending pickups.”
    3. Select the checkbox titled, “No, deliver to receiver.” Unless otherwise specified.
    4. Select the preferred shipping service.
    5. Select the checkbox titled, “Bill My Account”.
    6. Select the checkbox titled, “46X551 – Supercloset”.
    7. Select Pay and Get Label(s).
    8. Print the label(s)
  1. Refer to the sales order in NetSuite
  2. Select the “Shipping” tab.
    1. Change the Shipping Carrier to “UPS”.
    2. Change the Shipping Method to “UPS® Ground”.
    3. Select the drop-down under “SuperCloset Carrier”.
    4. Select “UPS – https://www.ups.com/track”.
    5. Enter the tracking label number(s) assigned to the shipment.
    6. Select Save.
  3. Select Email.
  4. Select the “Message” tab.
  5. Select the drop-down under “Template”.
  6. Select “SC Hydro and SuperBo… Order Has Shipped!”
  7. Select “Merge & Send”
  8. Clip the label(s) to the SO.
  9. Place the completed shipping documents in the warehouse’s shipping inbox for processing.
